Why is the software cash register necessary?

Software cash register simplifies the fiscalization process for online business without having to buy and maintain a physical cash register.
Who needs to connect cash registers to meet legal requirements?
Starting 2022, in Ukraine checks must be fiscalized in almost all areas of business, regardless of turnover and area of activity. A cash register is needed for entrepreneurs of 2–4 groups, legal entities, and those who receive transactions paid with bank cards online and offline. How to register a software cash register in the State Revenue Service?
The registration of the merchant, cash register, and cashier is performed in the personal account of your company. You need only SmartID to sign the application.
If you have already registered on the website of the State Revenue Service, then synchronization is available.
How to get and use the SmartID signature?
The SmartID signature allows you to sign documents with a qualified electronic signature. To use it, you need to have only a smartphone.
To get SmartID:
- Log in to the «Privat24 for Business» mobile app.
- Go to «Settings» → «SmartID».
- Select a company for which you want to create the SmartID signature.
- Enter the password for the SmartID signature. The password must contain 8 or more Latin characters, capital and lowercase letters, and digits.
- SmartID signature created.

What are the ways for a buyer to receive a fiscal receipt for goods or services purchased using the software cash register?
You can send the check to the buyer's e-mail address, copy the link or save the check in PDF and send it via any messenger.
How to find out that the check is fiscalized?
After the purchase, a seller receives an electronic check, which indicates the ID of the fiscal check. The seller or buyer can receive a fiscal check at any time on the website of the State Revenue Service, indicating the fiscal number and date. The check will look like this.
Where does the nomenclature of goods or services of the seller (merchant) for the fiscal check come from?
The seller must create the goods in the catalog via the LiqPay Business Cabinet: «Software cash register» → «Goods».
How does the refund procedure work for customers?
When performing a standard refund, the State Revenue Service provides for a separate check return operation, which is performed automatically.
What is necessary for opening or closing a shift of cashier?
The shift can be opened at any time of the day. It can be closed even if there were no payments.
How to connect a cash register in the LiqPay cabinet?
- Log in to the account at the link.
- Go to the «Software cash register» section, connect a company or synchronize data with the State Revenue Service.
- Register a cashier and the SCR in the State Revenue Service by submitting an application online.
- Set up tax rates and product categories.
- Monitor the fiscalization of transactions, send receipts to customers' e-mails.
